With my son’s second birthday quickly approaching, we had a few different themes we were going to pick from. Just about a week before I needed to send out invitations, I realized…the only theme that made sense for him this year was trains! Specifically, Thomas!
Here is everything I used and made for our “Choo Choo… Someone’s 2” themed party!
Invitations – To start, I got some adorable editable invitations from Etsy!
Food – I put out the food to look like a train using these foil pans for each train car.
- Tidmoth Sheds – Turkey & Cheese and Ham & Cheese sandwiches cut into train shapes
- Lumber Car – pretzel sticks
- Poultry Car – buffalo chicken dip
- Grain Car – tortilla chips
- Produce Cars – fruits & veggies
- Coal Station – crockpot meatballs
Drinks – called it the “Fueling Station”
- Thomas Punch – blue hawaiian punch (I put it in our Ninja SLUSHIi)
- Diesel Fuel – iced tea
Desserts – I also put these out to look like a train using the same foil pans.
- Gravel Car – chex puppy chow
- Animal Car – circus cookies
- Coal Car – oreos
- Cupcakes/Cake – I made these just from boxed cake mix and topped them with the toppers that came in the decor pack!

Decorations – I got everything from Amazon (of course) – I’ve linked it all below!
Thank you cards – I used these Super Cute Thomas themed Thank You Cards
